Have An Old Fashioned Christmas - Party Games

Snowman

SANTA'S BEARD

Draw a large Santa head on a piece of cardboard or heavy construction paper, then cut a large hole in the centre for his mouth. Colour Santa with poster paints or crayons.

Using absorbent cotton, form 6 balls about the size of a tennis ball.

Prop the Santa head on a low table or chair and mark a throwing line 4 to 6 feet away with tape. Have the players line up on the other side of the tape so that each can take a turn throwing the cotton balls.

The goal is to throw the cotton balls into Santa's mouth. Allow two rounds for all players. The player who has the highest score wins.

This game idea is for any occasion and any age. It consists of two or more players, a bowl or container of some sort, a large spoon/ladle, a blindfold and a bag of cotton balls.

One at a time, the players are blindfolded and the cotton balls are spread out on the floor in front of them. The object is to see who can get the most cotton balls in the bowl in a specified time. It's hilarious to play and watch.

Thanks to Tracy S - this sounds like fun!

Styrofoam peanuts are a good substitute for the cotton balls - thanks Stefanie B.!
